TSG Finishing, LLC was founded in 1901 under the name of Levy's International Water Shrinking and Drying Company by an Austrian immigrant named Jacob Levy. Throughout the first half of the century, the company's primary business was shrinking, steaming and examining wool fabric for the apparel industry. From its inception, the company has been operated as a privately held, family-owned corporation. Now managed by the fifth generation of Mr. Levy's descendants, TSG Finishing has grown from a small business in a single location to one of the largest textile finishing operations in North America with four operating facilities in PA and NC.
