The Liberty Group was founded in 1977 as a national executive search firm serving the Houston multifamily and commercial real estate (CRE) markets.

The firm quickly expanded to become a national leader placing real estate executives and personnel in 47 of the 50 states.  On a national level, some of the most innovative and successful American companies are now led by executives placed by The Liberty Group.

In 1990, The Liberty Group started providing apartment temporary staffing services for its Houston clients, focusing on the multifamily housing (apartment) industry. As the demand exploded, the firm steadily expanded its scope to provide temp and temp-to-perm staffing services in office/professional support.

Due to customer demand, in 1995 Liberty Screening Services opened to perform pre-employment screening, drug testing, background checks, and more. The addition of Liberty Screening made The Liberty Group a true one-stop shop for finding the perfect employee.

In the 2000s, Liberty diversified to serve the additional markets of Finance/Accounting and Information Technology (IT). Liberty also began offering contract employment services, giving companies a flexible way to add high-quality experts to their teams on a short term or long term basis.

Today, The Liberty Group has expanded their apartment staffing branch offices to better serve temporary clients and candidates.  Texas locations include Dallas/Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio and The Woodlands, in addition to our Houston location.  Other branch locations include  Phoenix, AZ; Los Angeles, CA; Denver, CO; Washington DC; Ft. Lauderdale, Miami, Orlando and Tampa, FL; Atlanta, GA; Chicago, IL; Indianapolis, IN; Kansas City, MO; Raleigh, Greensboro and Charlotte, NC;  Charleston, Columbia and Greenville, SC; Nashville, TN; and Seattle, WA with additional locations planned in the near future.
