What do you REALLY Want: Get Specific to Achieve More
Share
Do you have cable TV, and spend time surfing mindlessly from channel to channel, stopping here and there and everywhere for just the right show, with no real purpose or particular TV show in mind? OK, it's your NEIGHBOR who's got the problem. Think about him or her for just a minute. Why are they surfing when they know what they really want? Do they know what they really want or are they just killing time.

Now think about your life. How much time do you spend changing direction, wandering around with nothing particular in mind, and then wondering where all the time went? I know I've done this. Maybe you can relate, thought it's not your problem, it's your neighbor's problem.

Why do I do that? Why do I waste so much time? It's because I didn't get specific before I got started. I didn't have anything in mind that I wanted to see, wanted to do, so I just did whatever felt right for right now, and right now, and right now, and didn't think about it. I had nothing specific in mind. Not only did I not know what I wanted, I didn't know what I didn't want. By being specific, I can make better decisions, decisions that are in alignment with what I REALLY want.

And I can stop making bad decisions on what I don't want.

Take some time today to think about what you really want. Get really specific. And make each decision by thinking about what you really want to happen. And stop changing the channels of your life and focus in on the show you really want to watch.
