We are looking for a QA Analyst support our internal Forvis team for a 6 month remote contract.
Responsibilities
- Create and execute automated test plans and scripts according to requirements and specifications
- Ensure that testing activities allow applications to meet business requirements and systems goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify existing or potential issues.
- Collaborate with project/product team on holistic testing strategies, which may include functional, unit, integration, and acceptance testing methods.
- Make recommendations for improvement of applications to programmers and software developers or engineers.
- Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders and management.
- Test software to ensure integrations meet requirements and specifications.
- Analyze formal test results to discover and report any defects and configuration issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Writing test plans, test specifications, test cases, and test scripta
- Writing actionable bug reports
- Manual testing and maintaining regression test suites
- Automated test scripting, preferably with Ranorex
- Strong SDLC knowledge, issue management, agile methodologies, and test automation
