Overview

As a Cash Management Sales Officer within Deutsche Bank's Corporate Bank, you will partner with coverage bankers and product experts to originate United States cash management opportunities for international multinationals operating in the US. You will have ownership over a growing set of clients where you will be the primary point of contact for US Treasurers relating to payments, liquidity, Foreign Exchange, and Account Structuring. Your ability to independently grow client relationships (both new and existing) will be imperative to the success of this role, along with a deep understanding of US treasury and cash management services.

What You'll Do

  • Dedicated product sales officer focused on United States Cash Management mandates from non-US headquartered, global corporations

  • Manage a portfolio of existing and prospective clients by sourcing new business with revenue targets, including expectations to originate new client relationships

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of cash management products and services and understand linkages to covered industries

  • Drive and own the 'Request-for-Proposal' process to win/defend new cash management mandates

  • Prepare client proposals and presentations with global stakeholders including call reports and active client follow-up

  • Assist with portfolio management planning including client plans, pipeline reporting, and revenue tracking

How You'll Lead

  • Liaise with key business partners including relationship managers, operations, customer service, implementation, product management, risk, and compliance to ensure client and business objectives are met

  • Become the key point of contact - both internally and externally - for a broad range of clients, particularly for US operations and representation

  • Shape the development of a junior-talent pool designed to support you with your day-to-day client responsibilities

Skills You'll Need

  • High-level of expertise in treasury management, payments technology, liquidity, foreign exchange, and risk management

  • Ability to bring together internal resources to meet client needs with teamwork and internal networking abilities

  • Ability to function well independently or as part of a team

  • Strategic and broad thinking on clients and innovative ideas

  • Ability to conceptualize client cases and solutions in PowerPoint presentations with an attention to detail

Skills That Will Help You Excel

  • Background in sales or relationship management within banking and/or treasury management (preferably proficient experience)

  • Access to treasury relationships / clientele, particularly US Regional Treasurers of international corporations

  • Expertise in a particular country-corridor (examples:France, Netherlands, India, Japan)

  • Experience writing proposals and structuring complex, cash management solutions

  • CTP Certified

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $105,258 to $160,925.Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration.
