Based in Charleston, South Carolina, we are an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, professional services company looking to double in size year over year.


We are looking for a VP of Channel Sales & Strategy to design, develop and grow strategic relationships with channel partners to scale this segment of our business. You will be responsible for architecting SIB's channel partner sales strategy focused on developing KPI's for the program, creating visualizations to illustrate program performance, identifying/onboarding new partners (i.e. Private Equity, Financial Consultancies, etc), developing our Channel Partner Playbook, pricing strategy, partner enablement materials, training and managing the performance of existing partners. The ideal candidate will need to have quantifiable success designing, developing and implementing channel partnership development.


Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, implement and maintain our Channel Partner Sales strategy across the enterprise.
  • Identify and onboard new channel partners
  • Nurture, grow and expanding existing channel partner and referral partner relationships
  • Provide support and training to partners to ensure success of the program
  • Manage the performance of existing partners, and develop strategies to improve their sales and revenue growth within the program
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with partners, and work closely with them to achieve mutual goals
  • Partner with Sales & Marketing leadership to create channel partner sales enablement tools
  • Collaborate with the sales team to align sales and channel efforts
  • Monitor industry trends and stay up-to-date on competitors and market conditions
  • Create and manage channel partner budgets and forecasts
  • Develop and implement channel partner programs, such as training, marketing, and incentives
  • Measure and report on the performance of channel partners, using metrics such as sales and revenue
  • Identify and resolve conflicts and challenges within the channel
  • Provide support and guidance to partners on product and solution offerings
  • Attend industry events and conferences to build relationships and promote the company
Requirements
  • Over seven years of professional experience in Channel Sales/Partner Management leadership within the SMB space
  • A proven track record of success designing, developing, implementing and optimizing Channel Partner sales strategies
  • Experience building Channel Sales strategies and all related collateral from the ground up to include playbooks, KPI's, dashboards, partner enablement materials, training, contracts, etc.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with extensive experience presenting to partners and stakeholders within the office of the CFO (i.e. Controllers, VP of Finance, etc.)
  • The ability to build rapport, trust and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Knowledge of strategic channel sales processes and best practices
  • An expansive personal network of relationships with Finance Leaders
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with partners
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiations, time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability to change
  • A desire to learn and grow in the channel management field
  • A Bachelor's degree in business or related field
  • Proficiency in using and curating information in Salesforce (CRM) software

This position is a remote role, but does require applicants to be able to travel into the Charleston, SC office as needed.

Compensation & Benefits:

The Company offers competitive compensation based on an applicant's experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Formal compensation offers are based on final candidate qualifications and experience. For the position of Channel Partner Manager, the expected compensation is between $150,000 to $175,000 on an annual basis, plus bonuses based on performance. This is an FLSA-exempt position and is not eligible for overtime pay.
