DESCRIPTION

Decypher is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker to support Shaw AFB, SC.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Independently assess the psychosocial functioning and needs of patients and their family members and formulate and implement a treatment plan, identifying the patient's problems, strengths, weaknesses, coping skills and assistance needed, in collaboration with the patient, family and interdisciplinary treatment team
• Use medical and mental health diagnoses, disabilities and treatment procedures this includes; acute, chronic and traumatic illnesses/injuries, common medications and their effects/side effects, and medical terminology
• Implement treatment modalities in working with individuals, families and groups who are experiencing a variety of psychiatric, medical and social problems to achieve treatment goals
• Provide consultation services to other staff about the psychosocial needs of patients and the impact of psychosocial problems on health care and compliance with treatment
• Provide evidence-based treatment for psychiatric conditions in accordance with clinical practice guidelines established by the Association of Social Work Board, National Association of Social Work, National Institute of Mental Health, the Department of Defense, and/or the Department of Veterans Affairs
• Provide fitness-for-duty recommendations of active duty service member patients in accordance with Department of Defense policy and procedures
• Participate in case staffing, treatment team meetings, and case management activities as indicated by clinical need and clinic or Department of Defense policy

QUALIFICATIONS

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Master's Degree Social Work (MSW) accredited by (CSWE)
• 1 year of recent Mental Health experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• US Citizen
• NACI background check
