Description & Requirements
As an Industry Marketing Leader (IML), you will guide your region's assigned industry group in many aspects of marketing and business development, including leverage of industry strategic plans (ISPs), consulting marketing strategic plans (CMSPs), regional strategic plans, action item development and accountability, organizing regional marketing expenses, conferences and trade show planning and participation, strategic regional client and prospect pursuits, developing strategies for FORVIS-hosted events and execution, advertising plans, and driving thought leadership.

Under the guidance of the Regional Industry Leader (RIL), you will collaborate with the National Industry Tax and Assurance Marketing Leader (NIML), relevant Consulting Marketing Leaders (CMLs), and work directly with the Strategic Marketing Director/Senior Manager, Market Industry Leaders (MILs), and office resources to leverage strategy and resources.

You will also work closely with the national industry and consulting marketing teams, communicating frequently to ensure regional activities are aligned with and directly supporting the key strategic objectives of the National Industry Group.



How you will contribute:
  • Be the diligent brand champion in all markets within regions
  • Interact with senior internal and external personnel on significant inter-departmental and inter-firm matters, often requiring coordination between departments and vendors
  • Actively participate in meetings and communication opportunities and may serve on committees to discuss new ideas
  • Work with the office Managing Partners and other industry and consulting marketing leaders to support the strategic industry marketing needs of the local market
  • Work with the RILs and MILs to outline strategic action items in support of ISP goals, then track progress to ensure accountability and reporting to the Regional Managing Partner (RMP)
  • Be responsible for regional campaign lists and results
  • Consistently update regional proposal results, proposal statistics, etc. in the appropriate location
  • Nurture regional association relationships to help generate more exposure and thought leadership opportunities
  • Leverage national thought leadership activities through various outlets to expand the reach of FORsights within the region
  • Monitor marketing expenses
  • Support development and implementation of regional growth initiatives
  • Leverage or deploy reports providing data-driven insights to RMP and NIL, including SMD/SMSM/SMM and NIML, via meetings or communications as needed
  • Work with RIL and MILs to develop strategic target lists, then implement strategies for acquiring new clients
  • Lead strategy sessions for key regional client and prospect pursuits
  • Actively communicate with the National Industry Marketing Leader to enhance collaboration, share best practices, and ensure alignment with national priorities
  • Guide the strategy for various internal and external conferences and events at the regional level
  • Monitor and post on FORVIS social media platforms
  • Push easy button social media posts/email templates to the region for leverage
  • Collaborate with other IMLs, NIMLs, CMLs, and SMMs/SMSMs/SMDs to enrich in-person and virtual lists for current relationships to help facilitate follow-up activity and meetings
  • Teach, educate, and hold the team accountable to drive sustainable growth
  • Travel to office locations to build strong relationships
  • Recommend changes to policies and standards and implement procedures that affect your immediate work area and possibly the business function within your area or department

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3 years or more of relevant experience
  • Proficiency with computer and software skills, including Excel
  • Strong working knowledge of modern marketing practices
  • In-depth understanding and application of principles, concepts, practices, and standards


Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5 years or more of relevant experience
