Job Description

Located near beautiful Charleston, SC, Parker's Gas Turbine Power Generation business manufacturers fuel nozzles for power generation and military aerospace applications. Our team is capable of "quick turn" new product introduction and design for manufacture. Position Summary:

This summer internship for Contract Administration will provide you the opportunity to grow both technically and personally through practical working experience. This position will work directly with the business team, as well as cross-functionally, to ensure contractual obligations are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Regular update of sales files and re-introduce visual communication/alignment to shop floor of delivery commitment / performance.
  • Establish clean slate of alignment across all areas of customer portals, MSS, MPS and communication of customer status to Parker team.
  • Contract review status across all customers/value streams to ensure compliance.
  • Implement data utilization tools to engrain within business team SW.
  • Establish sustainable tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness of business team operations.
  • Support administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • Must be pursuing bachelor's in business administration, science, or another related field. Candidate shall have completed sophomore year with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Strong analytical skills, demonstration of leadership capabilities and professional maturity. Demonstrated confidence, excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team member.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Applications.
