This position will be based in San Francisco, CA or Los Angeles, CA and requires regular travel within your assigned territory. Occasional travel to company sites may be required as needed. Other California based locations will be considered - San Francisco or Los Angeles are preferred.

We are seeking a dynamic National Accounts Manager to champion the expansion of our Gallo malt products across various customer accounts. This pivotal role blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution, offering the chance to significantly impact our market share and foster enduring partnerships that support our brand.

What You Will Do:

  • Strategic Partnership Development:Forge and deepen relationships with key customers, transforming them into advocates for Gallo products. Understand their business needs and align our offerings to drive mutual growth.
  • Market Mastery:Regularly engage with wholesalers and distributor management teams to ensure alignment with chain priorities and execution excellence. Your keen market insights will help identify and capitalize on opportunities for expansion within your territory.
  • Performance Optimization:Leverage best practices and innovative philosophies to elevate the performance standards across customer accounts. Set and achieve ambitious revenue and profit growth objectives in collaboration with your accounts.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making:Partner with Category Management to dissect market data, uncovering opportunities that inform strategic initiatives. Your analysis will be the foundation of joint business plans and targeted growth strategies.
  • Holistic Engagement:Navigate cross-functionally within customer organizations, engaging with a spectrum of teams from senior management to digital marketing, to ensure comprehensive support for Gallo products across all platforms.
  • Compliance and Advocacy:Maintain rigorous adherence to all applicable laws and regulations, while acting as a fervent ambassador for Gallo, enhancing brand visibility and community presence through various channels.
  • Innovation and Leadership:Embrace and drive innovation within the organization, championing a future-focused mindset. Lead by example, fostering a culture of intrapreneurship, ownership, and accountability.

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of E. & J. Gallo Winery Sales, Gallo Affiliated or Non-affiliated Distributor sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of CPG sales/account management, retail sales/account management, or corporate business development reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 7 years of E. & J. Gallo Winery Sales, Gallo Affiliated or Non-affiliated Distributor Sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High school diploma or state-issued equivalency certificate plus 8 years of CPG sales/account management, retail sales/account management, or corporate business development reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Candidates for this position must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record. Required to obtain a California driver's license or appropriate state driver's license within 30 days of hire.
  • Required to obtain Liquor License as required by state/locality.
  • Required to travel by air and automobile up to 50% during the course of business.
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
  • Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
  • 1 year of malt beverage sales experience

What Will Set You Apart:

  • Bachelor's degree plus 6 years of Gallo winery or distributor sales or customer development experience to include a prior rotation as a Business Development Manager, Market Development Manager Sr, or Account Manager 2; OR Bachelor's degree plus 7 years of external alcohol sales experience to include account management experience.
  • Skilled in communication, project management and analysis.

Compensation:

  • Hiring salary range posted: $102,410- $161,800/ year
  • Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
