We have an opportunity for a Quality/Metrology Supervisor to join our Moorpark, CA team. You will lead and coach Quality and Metrology Technicians in the performance of their duties. The Quality supervisor will also maintain systems and controls to provide for the accurate inspection of products.

You will:

  • Ensure that Quality Technicians complete tasks on-time and within specified parameters.
  • Provide training, as required, to achieve Department goals.
  • Direct failure analysis activities for field returns
  • Set task & project priorities for the Metrology lab.
  • Ensure the quality and on-time delivery of metrology reports.
  • Ensure the integrity of the Calibration Program
  • Drive continuous improvement projects and 5S program.
  • Lead MRB meetings and oversee the PNR process.

Key Qualifications:

  • Have 3 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Have 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Have a basic understanding of Quality Management Systems.
  • Be a detail-oriented team player with dedicated work ethic.
  • Have the ability to prioritize & delegate.
  • Have the ability to train & supervise Quality Technicians.
  • Have the ability to understand, apply and teach advanced metrology methodologies, including use of a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM).
  • Have the ability to interpret complex drawings per ASME Y14.5 (GD&T).

For this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated annualized base pay range will be from $67,000 - 125,000 / year. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, and other relevant business or organizational needs. Actual compensation may be otherwise adjusted if the position if filled outside of the intended geographic location
