The Senior Application Solutions Analyst is responsible for evaluating and analyzing business processes to enhance the organizations application footprint. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that IT applications align with business objectives and process requirements. Responsibilities will also include analyzing and documenting current business processes and identifying areas for improvement.

Your Day to Day:

  • Analyze and document current business processes and identify areas for improvements
  • Work closely with IT and business stakeholders to gather process requirements and translate them into technical requirements
  • Design and model new processes and enhancements to existing processes
  • Conduct cost/benefit analysis for changes to business processes and/or IT applications
  • Facilitate communication between organizational units to align operations and project goals
  • Responsible for documenting all process analysis and design work
  • Adhere to Westinghouse standards and controls within area of responsibility
  • Periodically manage small application projects including budgeting, planning, and resource assignments

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in process analysis, business analysis, or a related field
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum frameworks, familiarity with Six Sigma, Lean, or other process improvement methodologies

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience with ERP systems and other enterprise applications
  • Proficiency in process modeling tools and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficiency in documenting processes and requirements clearly and concisely
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Strong understanding of business process management, workflow design, and IT applications
  • High degree of motivation, flexibility, and creativity
  • Understands and successfully communicates best practices for optimized solutions
  • Fluency in written and spoken English

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience using Microsoft DevOps or other Application Lifecycle Management tool
  • Ability to manage and organize small projects
  • Ability to forecast and predict future project trends
  • Experience conducting cost/benefit analysis for changes to business processes or IT Applications
