Overview

The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for clinical oversight of the Therapeutic Foster Care Program including review of referrals and assessing clients to coordinate services to meet client needs. The Clinical Supervisor will also be responsible for correspondence to clinical staff regarding paperwork documentation best practices.

Must be a BCBA for 3-4 years

Must know DayProgram

Must know all WA funding source.

Must ok to go to Lynwood Bellingham and Renton

Responsibilities
    Supports the mission, vision, and philosophy of StepStone and complies willingly with all organizational policies and procedures
  • Assists in the development of the client care programs and staff quality training programs to implement creation, implementation, and monitoring of various evidenced based programs for clients receiving services
    • This also includes the support of these therapeutic services to ensure the highest quality of service delivery
  • Facilitates and supports the design and implementation of all organizational policies and procedures
  • Supports all functions that attain and maintain accreditation and compliance with regulatory agencies including the monitoring of these systems and services provided to ensure full compliance with state and federal regulations, to include participation in various monitoring/oversight committees and the completion of program audits
  • Reports (and if possible, provides intervention for) incidents of abuse or potential abuse involving children to the Program Director, Executive Director and when necessary, the National Treatment Director
  • Oversees treatment teams and guides group consultations monthly or as often as necessary with the team
  • Reviews critical incidences and feedback to staff
  • Provides guidance, support and follows all policy and procedure to promote placement disruption, including attending DCBS Facilitated Staffing's
  • Supports and facilitates positive interaction with others by exhibiting:

  • Participates in appropriate professional development programs to attain and maintain competency
  • Responsible for oversight of treatment team consultation
  • Reviews and adheres all functions related to assessment, treatment planning and therapy interventions conducted by therapy and case management staff from a trauma informed care best practice perspective
  • Follows all TFC State regulations and adherence of the Department of Community Based Services Child Placing Contract
  • Ensures therapeutic needs of the client are met. Rotating on-call responsibilities for weekends and following of afterhours clinical decision tree
  • Supports delivering services throughout the designated areas as needed to ensure the highest quality of trauma informed care service delivery including therapeutic oversight and monitoring of program(s) and quality improvement planning
  • Assists in the development of the client care programs and staff quality training programs to implement creation, implementation, and monitoring of various interventions for clients receiving services
  • Coordinates the review, investigation, and resolution of client complaints/grievances in regard to services and notify appropriate parties of outcomes while instituting any corrective action plans
  • Supervises the therapy staff and provide coaching and corrective actions plans when necessary
  • Ensures staff training requirements are met and fulfill all requirements as they relate to policy and procedure, state regulations, contract requirements and Company staff training protocols when necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Human Services with the ability to provide mental health therapy
  • Experience in auditing and contract compliance
  • Three or more years' experience working with families and children
  • Provisionally or fully licensed as a BHP or BHPUS
  • Ability to travel between facilities
