What You'll Do in This Position

Provide management, leadership, and planning of engineering, procurement, and construction of multiple moderately complex multi-million-dollar projects. Establish numerous diverse project management teams, providing policy direction, broad program direction, and establishing priorities needed to integrate numerous ongoing area projects. Develop agile management framework and implement ITIL best practices for advance emerging technology initiatives.
Manage project cost, schedule, scope, and subcontract matrices, while adhering to SRS quality, environmental, and safety objectives. Manage established project costs, schedule, and technical baselines and provide effective management of project staff and matrix personnel to control baselines. Manage professional and non-exempt employees to include career development, motivation, performance review, and salary administration. Provide concise and accurate oral and written presentations to internal and external customers regarding project implementation plans, status, changes and new approaches, including complex technical, organizational and financial issues. Conduct considerably complex analysis of problems involving numerous engineering disciplines. Responsible for applying scheduling theory to develop and maintain the integrated master schedule and related artifacts in compliance with scheduling best practices and applicable standards.
Develop innovative alternative action strategies enabling the early achievement of milestones. Perform risk analyses and provide decision authority for defining and approving corrective actions and establishing priorities. Implement program scheduling business rhythms, developing baseline schedules and associated artifacts to meet contractual/project requirements, and monitoring, analyzing, and reporting performance against baseline schedules to ensure that contractual, cost and schedule. Manage project efforts to ensure project progress is within schedule, cost, technical, environmental, and legal baselines. Ensure timely submittal of all required progress and status reports. Act as a technical project management advisor to assigned project management teams, peers, less experienced project managers, and SRS senior management, and external customers.

Security Clearance Information

SRNS is required by DOE to conduct a pre-employment drug test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, criminal records, and employment history, and education verifications. Positions with SRNS may require applicants to obtain and maintain a DOE L or Q-level security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship. Factors such as pre-employment background review results, dual citizenship status, and unpaid and/or unfiled taxes may impact your ability to obtain a security clearance. Experience running schedule reviews to help project mangers be responsible and accountable for staying on schedule and properly reporting issues or concerns in a timely manner to program and customer leadership.
