Job Description: Support the assembly of engineering parts for the Greensboro, NC Product Development teams. This activity also includes assembly of devices for Design Verification Testing (DVT) and Product Optimization.Tasks includes operating Wirebonding equipment, solder assembly, working with semiconductor die and small passive components, and encapsulation operation. Use of computer and using MS Office tools (Excel, MSWord, PowerPoint, etc) will be required. Other tasks may include parts kitting/inventory and organization of lab materials. Many of these tasks will involve working with the aid of a microscope and tools for handling very small parts.
Job Requirements: Candidate must be able to work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform assembly, testing, checkout and trouble-shooting functions. A basic understanding of electronic circuits is required. Must be proficient using hand tools such as tweezers, vacuum pencils, soldering irons, die bonding, wirebonding and special tooling/fixtures. This position requires a self-motivated team player with a strong desire to succeed. Associate degree OR equivalent experience required.

Preferred Skills: Soldering and printed circuit assembly experience, working from engineering drawings and markups, understanding or training for handling ESD sensitive electronic components and experience working
with the aid of a microscope.
